When I opened the box with the Venice G5 10’6″ x 34″ SUP board, the first thing I noticed was the same solid build and attention to detail I had seen in other Nixy paddle boards. I couldn’t wait to get it in the water, and as soon as I did, I was impressed again by how quick and easy it was to inflate and set up.
This board turned out to be perfect for me, especially since I always bring my first mate, my dog Charles. Thanks to its extra width and stability, we were both comfortable paddling together, whether in the marina or out in the open ocean. We spent hours exploring different waters, and I was even able to pull off some SUP yoga poses without any trouble.
The Venice G5 is not only stable but also convenient. Deflating, rinsing, and packing it into my Jeep took just about 10 minutes. The rolling backpack it comes with was an added bonus and made transport even easier.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with the quality and care that Nixy puts into their boards. As a passionate stand up paddler, this is a brand I would absolutely invest in and I can honestly say I am in love with this product line.
