First Impressions
I had the pleasure of testing the Red Paddle Co. 10’6” x 32” Ride MSL inflatable paddle board, and from the moment I unpacked it, I was genuinely impressed by the craftsmanship. Everything, from the board itself to the travel case and the included accessories, reflected the high quality that Red Paddle Co. is known for.
The board came neatly packed in a durable travel bag, which made transportation easy and organized. Setup was straightforward, and within minutes I was ready to hit the water.

Inflation and Setup
Inflating the board was one of the easiest experiences I have had with a manual pump. From start to finish, it took only about five to seven minutes to reach fifteen PSI.
The included pump features a dual action pressure switch, which makes the process simple. Start by turning it counterclockwise for faster airflow, then switch it clockwise once pumping becomes harder. This reduces resistance and makes the final push to full inflation surprisingly easy.
Portability and Build Quality
One of the most important factors for me when choosing a paddle board is portability, how easy it is to carry from the car to the water. The Ride 10’6” exceeded expectations. It is light, sturdy, and easy to handle without sacrificing quality or durability.
The 10’6” length and 32” width offer the perfect balance between stability and maneuverability, making it a great all around board for different skill levels and water conditions.
Performance on the Water
During the days I had the demo board, I tested it in several conditions, from calm marinas to open ocean waters near large ships and occasional swells. No matter the setting, the Ride performed beautifully. It felt stable, responsive, and safe in every environment.
Its light construction allows for smooth gliding with very little effort, and I was able to maintain excellent control even in choppier waters.
Perfect for Paddle Board Yoga
As a paddle board yoga enthusiast, I always look for a board that combines stability, space, and comfort. The Red Paddle Co. Ride 10’6” is perfect for that. The generous deck width provides enough room to perform even challenging poses, and the overall balance of the board keeps you centered and confident throughout your session.
Deflation and Storage
When the session was over, deflating the board was just as easy as setting it up.
The quick release valve emptied the air in seconds, and everything fit neatly back into the travel case, keeping it compact and organized for transport.
What Could Be Better
The Ride 10’6” is slightly more expensive than many all-around inflatable boards from other brands, but considering its premium construction, outstanding performance, and the 5-year warranty, we believe it’s totally worth the investment.
One potential drawback is that the fins are permanently attached to the board and cannot be removed. Over time, repeated rolling and packing in the bag could cause them to bend or wear slightly. This is something to keep in mind if you plan to travel frequently with your board.
Another limitation is that the kit does not include a paddle or a leash, both of which are essential for paddleboarding. These need to be purchased separately, so it’s something to keep in mind when budgeting for your complete setup.
