From the moment I unboxed the Nixy Newport G5 10’6” paddleboard and pumped it up for the first time, I could tell it was built with real quality in mind. Inflation was quick and easy, taking less than ten minutes to reach 14 PSI, and I was excited to get it on the water. The next afternoon, I took it out for a full test run and immediately felt comfortable and secure, even when larger boats created big wakes. Over the course of the day, I paddled around the marina, out into the ocean, and through a few channels with my dog Charlie riding along. We ended up spending nearly four hours exploring, and the board handled everything with ease.

Just as important, deflating the board is quick and hassle-free, making it easy to rinse, pack, and load into your car after a long day on the water.
Performance Across Conditions: The board performs well in a variety of settings. It feels solid on flat water, stable in light chop, and maneuverable enough for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Cruising around the marina was effortless, and even paddling out into the open ocean near passing ships, the board remained steady and reliable.
Portability & Storage: Weighing just under 19 lb, the Newport is lightweight and easy to handle. The three carry handles and included wheeled bag make both transport and storage simple and convenient.
